We went out onto site on Friday afternoon 20/11/2015 and only 2 rows of the bricks had been down around the whole house.
Luckily we live not far away and we went there on Sunday 22/11/2015 not expecting anything and WALLAH, the brick layers were there & were finished the house! The house is fully bricked!!
Cannot believe it! It has gone so fast!

Frames and Roof!!
Sorry for not being on here often, we had our wedding on Saturday 17th October so have been off doing that and on our honey moon.
While off we have had frames up and our gutters and roof put on.
Now the long wait for a bricklayer starts - plus this weather is terrible!

Yes, that's right! We're on the list!

Plans approved by council!
I know it has been a long time between posts - I have been very busy with organising a wedding (getting married on 17th October this year) and building this house!
We had a little hiccup once the land was registered due to the easement for maintenance we lost a little bit of our alfresco (which isn't such a big deal as fiancé is a landscaper so he will deck it out bigger anyway and we needed to drop our garage down 500mm which wasn't ideal but we still have internal access (just maybe two steps going up into the garage) which was fine with us due to slope of land.
Plans went into council in 03/08/2015 and were approved by 21/08/2015 which was a very fast process and I'm very surprised it was so quick but I'm not complaining! So now we are waiting for construction certificate and bank documents which should be here any day now then the fun begins!
I have attached pictures below of our house on the land and the floor plan.

Land is Registered
Great news!!
Our land registered on 28th May & we settle on 10th June..
Now I suppose it is a waiting game until things happen with soil testing and council approval etc.
Bring on the fun!!
